We met with Rachael Neville who works remotely from KCC Workspace in Kilnarin in North Wexford.
Rachael is a recruitment consultant and she uses KCC Workspace to rent a private office desk for her working day.
Rachael particularly likes the opportunity to be able to do her job while living in a place that she loves and having escaped the chaos of City living and having a boundary between her work life and home life.
“It’s great to come in and have the option of a shared workspace. There’s an open workspace available as well, but we use private offices. I personally enjoy working in a shared office space compared to working at home because it’s very important for me to have that boundary between home life and work life. So it’s great to come into an office space that’s professionally run everything is already there for us so much better for my productivity and work and for my work-life balance because I can just shut off then once I go home.”
I would definitely recommend working remotely in Wexford. It’s such a nice change from the chaos of the city. And it’s really good to connect more with your community, your family and just the lovely nature of Wexford.”
