International Financial Services
Ireland has established a global reputation as a leading centre for a variety of financial services activities ranging from international banks and fund administration to insurance and aircraft leasing. As the fourth largest exporter of financial services in the EU, the sector contributes in excess of €2bn in taxes to the Irish exchequer on an annual basis. Wexford is home to a number of global players in this field including BNY Mellon and Zurich Insurance.
Over 500 international financial institutions, employing 35,000 people, are located in Ireland. With a third of these jobs based outside Dublin, Wexford is a well-established and attractive business location for companies operating in the financial services sector.
